Ministry of commerce: the price of refined oil was stable on December 16-22th, 2019

Last week (16-22th,December) wholesale oil prices were unchanged on a month-on-month basis, with gasoline prices of no. 92 and no. 95 rising 0.2% and 0.1% on a month-on-month basis to 7,959 yuan and 8,399 yuan per ton, respectively.The price of no. 0 diesel was 7108 yuan/ton, down 0.1% month-on-month.
The ministry of commerce believes that the recent international oil price shock upward, is expected to be stable in the short term domestic oil prices trend up.
Monitoring data from the ministry of commerce also showed that the retail prices of no. 0 diesel and no. 92 gasoline were 7,613 yuan and 9,050 yuan per ton, respectively, last week.The retail price of no. 95 gasoline was 9,602 yuan/ton, up 0.15% month-on-month.
Oil futures at home and abroad have continued their volatile upward trend, buoyed by positive sentiment that Russia will continue to honor its agreement with OPEC to cut output and optimism that China and the United States will soon finalize a trade deal.Among them, the us WTI crude oil futures price climbed above us $61 per barrel, while brent crude oil futures price also rose to us $66 per barrel. The domestic crude oil futures 2002 contract showed a unilateral upward trend, and the futures price rose to RMB 488.8 per barrel, a new high for the year.
As for the afternoon market, the price monitoring center of the national development and reform commission predicted that the news that Opec and its Allies reached a new agreement to cut output, China and the us reached an agreement on the text of the first-phase economic and trade agreement, and the UK election achieved a decisive result, to some extent relieved the uncertainties affecting world economic growth and restored market confidence.
Based on the current situation, several energy agencies also believe that global oil demand growth will accelerate in 2020, and revised their previous estimates.
